  1. Hi

Does anyone know where i can get and cheap C02 cartridges that deliver to the UK? Non-Threaded.

  2. Have you tried Walmart in the UK?

  3. i didnt think that there was a walmart in the Uk, i will have a look though, and also at our equilevent ASDA. 🙄

  4. The thing you have to watch for is whether you need "threaded" or "non-threaded" CO2. If non-threaded is ok, then go to one of the web sites that carries "paint ball" guns. The paint ball guns use the non-threaded CO2. You can get the size needed...12 or 16...etc. They are cheap from the paint ball guys.
    Good luck !

  5. yeah non threaded, ive been looking and they have been very cheap but its the p&p that makes it expensive, thats why im trying to find other sites!

I've heard that gun CO2 cartridges have oil in them to lubricate the mechanics. Is this true and if so does will this cause a problem for the tubes?

Some have more oil than others. Since they are cheap, discharge one on a plate and see if there is any oil. Since rapid discharge cools the contents, most oil stays in the cylinder.

There are plenty of places in the UK that sell 12 gram non-threaded in bulk. Last time I checked, they are not regulated like ammunition so anyone with some pound notes can buy.

  8. Here in the USA I buy them for $2 from www.sportsbasement.com

  9. i couldnt see them on there 🙁

  10. Frank, the 12 gram ones cost about $.35 each in bulk.

  11. yeah, but where do you ge them from, ( i need UK site, ive seen loads of US)

  12. I see the suggested retail price is 70 pence each. In bulk, this drops to 60 pence but you have to buy 100. No VAT here in the States so that probably explains part of the difference.

Since this is compressed gas, shipping might incur haz mat fees too.

Best bet would be to chum around an air rifle club. They will know where to get them cheapest. Mail order isn't.

Locate your local paint ball club, they know where to get the cheep stuff.

  15. I bought an Inovations ultraflate pro that is supposed to accept 12g and 16g
threaded and unthreaded cartridges. As far as I can see it won't accept a 12g
unthreaded and I got some 16g ones that are too large at the nose and can't be pierced 🙄

  16. are you using proper innovations cartridges
