  1. Hello,
I was just wandering if anybody knows of any good cheap forks in the mentioned price range for largely xc use, but with the potential for some other uses such as mild downhill, and a bit of jumping, but as said largely for single trail use.
    Thanks

    Matt

By the way, I've looked at Marzocchi 2004 EXR comp, but I can't find any great info on it, also I've looked at the 2004 Judy XC, but don't know what they're like - so if anyone can throw any info on them that would be great!!!

  2. go to http://wiggle.co.uk/default.asp?cat=cycling and then on the left hand side go down to forks-MTB, have a peek round there

  3. thanks - i've been checking Wiggle and Chain reaction (and reading the reviews) but they haven't been too useful, as I can't really compare these to any other forks which most of the reviews do. Ideally I would just like to know if there are any cheap forks, particularly the Marzocchi EXC one, which could take about 12 stone, with minimal pedal effort lost in compression, which happens maaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaajorly in my current fork. Ideally they would be good for trails. Thanks Matt

  4. i take it that you've been on the Marzocchi webstie???

  5. or have a look round this.....http://www.cyclestore.co.uk/productviewer.asp?ID=1&type=suspensionposts

  6. Hey thanks man, er fraid I haven't been on the Marzocchi site cos I thought it wouldn't be worth it.... Anyway - you know where I'm on now!!!

  7. lol, u found anythin dat u like?

  8. lol er I've found some info but I'm still quite interested in the EXR comp fork - but I can't find any reviews on it and I can't really make sense of all the marketing hype!! Ideally, having seen some forks on CRC for less than £100, I really don't want to spend more than £100. If anyone knows anything of the EXR comp- please could they give me any info they know about it. Thanks!!

  9. i was lookin for some info on da EXR's but coudlnt rele find anything on dem....

  10. smooth man!! btw, I'm a bit slow, but are you lookin for the same sort of fork?

  11. wot d'u mean?

  12. er, well you seemed to know about the EXR fork, and I was just wandering if you've been looking for one as well??

  13. oh rite soz, nah i just got a bit bored last nite and i woz lookin for it lol 🙂
