Cheap bidons in Sainsbury's

I regret to admit that had to resort to Google to find out what was a
'bidon' 🙁 Then, for some odd reason, I began to think of 'bidet' and of
connections. However, I see from my Collins English Dictionary that
'bidet' is thought to originate from the word for 'small horse'.

Another incidental. Why are Sainsbury's selling them? Maybe kids use
them as drinks bottles in lunch bags?

And finally. In my Sainsbury's, just beside the 'bidons', there is a
full two metres of shelf space of clothes hangers. A seventh of an aisle
devoted to clothes hangers! I guess they don't know how to fill the
space now that most of the Christmas 'gift' rubbish is gone, and just
before Easter eggs arrive and the space occupied by St. Valentine's day
is limited.

Shops don't tend to sell as much in the first couple of months of the
year, and some supermarkets push some products in this period.

What I want to know is why do I keep buying extra lits when I have 20
odd bike lits, and the most I ever use is five at a time.

Lights are very attractive things I find. I have too many too, even though I
generally stick to 4.

Yeppity. I've now found the receipt but lost the packaging. I'll take it

Some people just like to try to sound clever
More often then not the opposite is true.
