The banana's question was silly; my response was silly, and your asking for a reference to my opinion was the silliest of all.
Would it be that you thought we should know you would not have any support for your opinion?
But I did have support. When you asked for a reference, I gave my support. It was an argument that established my answer as correct. And I did it all without any references.
If you require a reference for every assertion, then you are saying you won't accept the truth of any assertion, because if every assertion must be based on a reference to be true, then first principles are false, and evertything that is based on first principles is false, and so on, makinjg every assertion false. See how smaqrt I am?
Would that mean that you won'r respond to any thread I participate in?
I've tried to add a filter to delete your posts, so I won't be tempted to respond to them, but I'm using Mozilla Thunderbird now, and I have no idea how its filter system handles newsgroups, so I don't know if what I have done will work. So I'm not making any promises, but if this does work, I won't see your posts anymore.
Steve? You being an electrical engineer and all probably know how to get Mozilla Thunderbird to delete posts submitted by a certain person. If you have any advice, you being an electrical engineer and all, I would be much obliged.

No, a reference to support your opinion. Do you have any?
I answered that the first time you asked. No, I said, I don't have a reference, but I do have an argument. And then I gave my argument, whyich was correct. And then you started with the insults.

I doubt it. Do you have a reference?
Well, many studies have shown that internal heat generation increases

That's true, but you could do even more activity treading water with an egg beater kick,
But that would not be a "rest" as you describe it.

>Why would you think anyone "out there" would feel inferior to you?
The alternative would be for me to think I'm inferior to everybody. I don't think that. I'm really a very smart guy. I suppose I'm a boring guy, but I'm very smart. So I would be surprised if the doormats the banana was talking about didn't feel a little inferior.
Would it have anything to do with your calling other people names?
I don't think so.
Don't you think other people would be affected by your calling them names?

Sorry, you're on your own. I'd rather concentrate on my swim training instead of worrying about solving your software problems.
