Bring it back to where you bought it. Most likely it's a default with the
chain or with the cassette. Show them how to reproduce the problem and
with a couple of tests they should be able to figure out what's wrong. If
they are serious, they should offer you a warranty replacement.

Without looking at your chain, I'm guessing you have a worn chain. If
you replaced any links (with master links) you might have used wrong
sized links.

Considering the age of the bike, you might still be under warranity,
and they can check if you made any 'fixes' to your chain.

If the cogset is new and the chain is old, it will slip. This is due to
the chain's "stretching". The space between the links are now farther
apart than the cog's teeth, IOW, it doesn't fit anymore.

Make sure you have the correct size lockring on your cassette.

skip.

But the OP says the bike is only a couple of months old, so I doubt
wear is the problem.

Actually, Iv'e had skip from bothcombonations, albeit the old chain/new
cog combo usually only skips in the smallest cogs

The most likely cause on a bike so new would be a stiff link, so double
check that.

It's possible that the pawls in your hub are slipping -- not a common
problem. but you may have got a bad one. Not an easy way to prove it
though except to try a different rear wheel.
