  1. What a sick, demented, communist country we live in when a peace activist like
Cat is denied entry because he doesn't believe in the war. He even denounced
9/11 and terrorism, yet he was denied entry. What a sick [censored] country.

Maybe they just don't like his music?

  3. I agree. If we're going to ridicule him, lets do it for legitimate
    reasons......like his music.

Where is it stated that is the reason he was denied entry?

From what I have read, he is on a no-fly list and should not have been allowed to board the
plane in London in the first place. You can argue the reasons for his being on the list, but
don't make assumptions like the above. He supposedly supported the Ayatollah Khomeini's death
edict on Salman Rushdie in the 80's, and Israel claims he has provided funds to Hamas. You
can dispute those if you like (I would), but those are the reasons he is on the no-fly list.

If everyone who was against the war was on the no-fly list, the airlines would all be
bankrupt. I would not be flying anywhere, that's for sure.

Duhhh, then why was he allowed in last may, but denied it now? What changed?
Only one thing, he publicly denounced the war on Iraq, and had the nerve to
critisize King George. This is COMMUNIST AMERICA at it's worst!

Some peace activist -- he seems to support murder of Jews, having been a
large donor to Hamas, according to what I've read. Hamas has also killed
    Americans.

If that is what Mr. Yousef Islam has done, it sounds eminently logical to
deny him entry to the US. Gee, maybe Homeland Security is finally getting
it's act together. I read that he should have been screened out in London.
Bummer for the other passengers who were inconvenienced.

If he's changed his views on Hamas, then he can work to get his name
cleared -- lord knows he's got the money to hire lawyers.

I would call it sick if we knowingly let donors to terrorist organizations
    *in*.

    Dan,

Would your statement be applicable to people that do business
with a family that has links to terrorist organizations?

Interesting question. If the person knew that doing business with a party,
such as a front organization, would benefit T-organizations, that would be a
bad. But things start to get difficult and deniable at that remove, don't
they? That's another good reason to shut down the direct offenders.

We all have the solution in one finger, vote the SOB out of office in
November. And we thought McCarthy who saw a commie behind every tree was
    nuts.

Um Mr Leghumper, he stopped supporting those groups after they started
terrorist activities that killed innocent people. He denounced these groups. He
was quoted as saying "the Quoran states that the killing of just one innocent
person is akin to murdering the whole human race". So, does that sound like a
    terrorist?

So are you saying GWB didn't know the Bin laden family had ties to their son?

  15. Hey Barf:

If that's true, that he's denounced all terrorism, then I'd wager he could,
and in my opinion, should, get removed from the list.
