Casualty in the women's peloton

As reported on tv, no further info known by me:

During a training race/ride before the Thüringen Rundfahrt in Germany, a
29-yr old Australian female cyclist was killed by an oncoming car that
drove into her group. At least five others more or less seriously injured.

Very sad, and extra rough on the day Casartelli died in 1995.

A whole team wiped out. It must of looked like a war zone with all the
medivacs and ambulances getting out the casualties.
