Last time I rode by, the "ghost bike" at the accident site was still there. I wonder whether the USMC flag is scaring the cops who like to remove roadside memorials off, or if they are unsure as to whether the tribute is on public roadway land or Marine Corps Air Station Miramar land.
I can't help but wonder whether the sentence would have been shorter, or suspended, if the victim had been someone else.

I don't even think this case should have even gone to court. The cyclist was probably riding down the middle of the road blocking traffic.

Cameron is just the latest moniker for our unimaginative troll. This guy is not clever, he is not creative, or even the least bit good at the art of trolling. My guess, is that he is a pathetic little weasel, with a variety of antisocial and emotional issues. In a battle of wits, he will lose. In the real world, he is a disappointment to everyone who knows him. He even loathes himself. To know him, is to pity him.
