Has anyone else found Cannondale Customer Service to be very unhelpful? I have been trying to sort out an issue with a replacement frame (under warranty) for a month or so now any they are being quite unreasonable. They have tried to fob me off with a frame that looks nothing like the frame I had in the first place. (I had an Volvo Team Blue F700 and they are trying to give me a raw silver frame, with my original blue forks!) OK - I accept that the same frame is unlikely to be available but I would accept at least a painted frame and a respray of the forks - under warranty... but they seem to only offer me a respray of the replacement which I would have to pay for (~ £120+).
Is it just me or does this seem unreasonable... given the original bike broken due to a manufacturer defect!
It is not just their frames that are defective...!!

How old is that frame? Sounds like a reasonable deal to me.

I have no experience of this sort of thing but I would expect them to replace the frame with something similar. If the original was painted I would expect the replacement to be painted and to be the same or a very similar colour. -- Michael MacClancy

Considering how much Cannondales cost and the fact they sell them on the virtue that all their frames are hand made in the usa and not rebranded taiwanese imports like most other usa firms you would think they would be more customer friendly in a situation like this. Frankly from what you've described the company sounds rubbish and the product itself doesn't sound too hot. What were the circumstances of the frame failure?
I would have thought they would supply you with a new frame sprayed to resemble your old frame colours. What would be nice too would be fitting the components of your old frame to the new frame free of charge.

I was looking at having the latest cannondale carbon frame set and if that's how they traet customers I will be looking elsewhere, I would give them another chance to honour the warranty and if that fails take advice (and tell them that you will be contacting a Solicitor )

GOOD LUCK.......
I can't comment on Cannondale customer services.
I have three Cannondales, the youngest of which is three years old and the oldest fifteen years old. I have had no frame problems at all (and I am a bit of a porker and don't treat them very well).
