Sorry, I have to snip or this won't go through.

anything. It says, on the can, two servings of 2.5

out the water of those 3 cans and prepared them with
mayo and relish, I ended up with about 4 healthy sized
sandwiches (on normal sized bread-nothing big) and just
a little extra. I too was amazed at how little tuna
there was. I think something has changed too. Thanks for
bringing it up.
You and Tom are absolutely correct. Used to be you would
get two nice sandwiches out of a can. I'm the type of
person, I like the filling to be at *least* as substantial
as the bread, even if I only eat a half. Too many 'one
slice of baloney and one slice of cheese' sandwiches as a
kid, maybe. You cannot even get two average sandwiches out
of a can of tuna anymore. I add minced celery or onion, of
course mayonnaise (I'm to Hellmann's what Stan is to Heinz
ketchup), slabs of tomato, that makes it sorta okay. But
back then, that would give you 4 good sized sandwiches.
Then, add to that that even solid white tuna bears more
resemblence to cat food than what we used to think of.
Remember what solid white tuna used to look like? Those
days are gone as far as canned tuna goes.

Not if you pay for the low sodium stuff! It comes in
large sections/flakes! It's also a bit dryer, so the can
is more full.
But it's also more expensive......
K. (who tries to stay low sodium!)
