Obviously cancer-cures-in-a-bottle don't come cheap. $60 a bottle per
day for 90 days, & that's only Part I. I can't figure out the Soft-Gel
thing, which you take for another 90 days, but it looks like a very
little container for $800.

Not in the US. It's a popular misunderstanding that something has to
work for you to get a patent on it. Not true -- the only thing you
can't patent without a working model is a perpetual motion machine.

You may be thinking of FDA approval, but that's different.
