Canada - any cycling broadcasts?

Please! We canucks are more than satisfied with watching
some 300 pound guy enjoying his sport fishing! We don't need
no stinking cycling coverage!

I have not tried, but OLN's US feed is apparently broadcast
in the clear on C-band. Which means if you put up a big ugly
10' dish and point it at the right satellite, you could
enjoy Giro and Vuelta coverage.

The Giro's got a live internet feed (as did the TdF last
year via Danish TV2- the television station, not the band-
and hopefully again this year)

10' isn't considered a Big Ugly Dish. BUDs start at 12'. 8-
and 10-foot dishes are called BUD Lites.

You probably can. The cost of a complete C-band setup can be
as little as $300 or so. The bad news is I seem to be
finding info that OLN will be removing its analog C-band
signal in the next couple of months, possibly just before
the TdF this year.

So it's back to gray-market DirectTV subscriptions for us,
