Can I use a power meter with a stationary recumbent trike?



You know, I keep thinking about how stationary trikes are like the ultimate cheat code for low-impact riding. But if I go all-in with a power meter, it feels like I’m just playing pretend. Like, can I even trust those numbers if I'm not actually moving forward? Is it just gonna be me and my stationary wheel, pretending I’m crushing it on a climb? I wanna geek out over metrics, but it feels like I’d just be chasing shadows. Is there a way to make it legit? Or is it just a pipe dream to think I can get real data on this thing?
