Can I use a hydration supplement during a ride to help with hydration?

That's an interesting question. Can hydration supplements really replace water during a ride? I'm not so sure. Don't get me wrong, the idea of no more stopping to refill sounds amazing, but aren't these supplements meant to complement water intake, not replace it? I'd love to see some studies or evidence that support the claim that they can provide adequate hydration on their own. 🤔

So, if hydration supplements are just fancy little pills, do they actually have the power to hydrate us like, say, a good old-fashioned water bottle? I mean, are we really expected to trust these colorful capsules over the classic H2O? It’s like choosing a trendy avocado toast over a solid peanut butter sandwich. Anyone brave enough to ditch their trusty bottle and go all-in on these supplements during a ride? Or did you just end up feeling like a dried-up sponge? 🤔
