Hey fellow cyclisticians,
Ive been pondering this little conundrum for a while now and Im curious to hear your two cents. So, Ive got this power meter that I use on my carbon fiber beauty, and Ive been thinking, can I share the data from this thingamajig between my other bikes? You know, the steel one and the titanium beast.
I mean, its not like the data is bike-specific, right? Its all about how much power Im generating, not how the bike feels. So, why cant I just slap that sucker on any bike I want and get the same readings?
Now, I know what youre thinking, But chainsaw6, every bike is different! The geometry, the weight, the aerodynamics, they all affect your performance! Yeah, yeah, I get it. But hear me out. What if we could come up with a way to adjust the data based on the bikes specs? Wouldnt that be something?
So, heres the challenge: How can we share power meter data between bikes and still get accurate readings? Im not talking about some half-assed solution either. I want something thats gonna make the road cyclists [censored] their fancy lycra shorts.
Lets get creative and shake things up. Show me what youve got!

There you have it. I cant wait to see what you guys come up with!
