Campy shifter springs

It's true! The springs get weak and sometimes break. The replacement is fairly simple with
instructions on the web. Parts are available from most shops who should be able to do the job for
you. Charlie

Absolutely real. And inexpensive (a first for Campy). Replacing them will fix your
shifting problems.

Well, it's not that they get weak. they engage the ratchet on the shoulder of the g-shaped spring,
and that contact area wears down.

durability, it outlasted my previous SOB group. Just sounds like an old wive's tale or something.

It is a simple and inexpensive process to rebuild an Ergo lever back to "like new". Usually all
that's required is a set of springs.

Nope-easy to do on any Campagnolo lever starting with the very first in late 1991....
