I am planning on buying some Campagnolo Zondas by the end of March.I have investigated all other viable possiblities (based in the UK) and seem to be able to get them for about £200.
Campag claim they weigh 1730 less skewers. They use the G3 sytem and below them are Scirrocco and Vento.
I currently use Rolf Vector Pros on my other bike and have used Mavic Elites (2003) Mavic Cosmos (2001) Campag Moscow 36h, so want something close as poss to the Vector Pros without forking out £400-500.
Has anyone used the Campag Zondas? What is their real weight and what wheels are you comapring them to? Also when you live feedback leave the country from where you are from y accepto commentarios en castellano.

Whoa, you can get them for £200? The best I've seen them for is £300. Can I ask where you can get a pair of Zondas for £200? And are they the 2004 ones (with the radial-spoked front wheel, instead of G4 spoking)?

Even with the falling US$, the converted price wasn't more than $350.
I have seen them, and they look/feel really nice. Can't say much about performance as 1) I can't feel the diff between wheels anyway, and 2) he hasn't ridden them enough to know about durability.
You could consider Velocity Spartacus Pro wheels. I got a new set on eBay for $285. And fitted for Campy was another $20 or so. They, too, seem very nice.

I bought a set of Zondas last summer, partially because I wanted something that wasn't as harsh riding as my Rolfs, and partially because they were on sale for $350. Plus, I thought they looked sharp in the photos.
They ride a little less harsh as my Vector Pros, performance doesn't seem to be noticably different in one direction or the other. The Rolfs might be a touch faster on long downhills, but that could be my imagination.
A good, solid, reasonably light aero wheel. Mild aero spokes, 30mm deep aero rim. The stock Campy skewers weigh a ton, so I got on ebay and picked up some ti Rolf skewers for $25. These have the G4 spoking on the front - 1/2 radial spoking, 1/2 one cross laced.
Oh, and they're really sharp looking. All black, with silver lettering.

That's why I bought my C40 frame, Chorus/Record combo, and the Zondas from the UK and paid the hefty $200 in shipping to the US. Saved $1000+ on the frame, $300 or so on the group, and $150+ on the wheels.
Try Maestro in the UK. Cheapest I found, and very friendly. Note: the Zondas are the radial from, G3 rear -- the '04 style.

You sure? Isn't the dollar weak right now? If you can find a good shipping rate, I'd think a buyer in the UK would be at an advantage to a seller in the US. Stunk at economics back in my school days, though; could be completely wrong.
