Veloce == fast

Just one of the several "extra" labels that italian car builders love to put
on their cars to make them look "different" (climatizzata, lusso, sport...).

Include both terms in a Google search, and you'll discover that wheels from
Campagnolo's automotive facility have been fitted to cars from Alfa Romeo
(as well as De Tomaso, Lancia, Ferrari, and others.)

Our big old Maserati Quattroporte came with OEM Campagnolo wheels. I don't
recall that any of its other parts were Campy, but I could be wrong.

And the 1969 Alfa coupe was the best car I've ever owned, albeit a lot
less reliable than the Saabs I've owned since. Hated to give it up,
especially after I finally figured out all the combinations of lights
and fog lights possible with the three toggle switches on the dash.

The offer that was made was pretty hard to refuse, though. And it was
cash.

Yes they do -- many Alfa Romeos have Campagnolo wheels.
