Campag callipers with Shimano levers?

It works fine, but the only problem is that the release mechanism to
open the brake calliper is on Campagnolo systems in the levers and
on Shimano systems on the brake callipers, if you chose Campagnolo
callipers and Shimano levers you can't open the brakes.

They will brake and operate fine BUT no quick release on Campag brake
calipers, like shimano. They are in the Campagnolo levers. If your
tires aren't too big, then you'll be able to get a wheel out.

Braking response no problem.

Ergo with Shimano caliper = double releases.
STi with Campagnolo caliper = zero releases.

minor inconvenience - the adjuster would probably suffice.

They will work fine. Just remember to carry a 5mm hex
so you can release the calipers if your tires are too wide
to get out. Ken
