  1. Another insult for the rotund.

I've lost 30 pounds and have 30 to go, but my middleschool daughter is
now ashamed of my new pants because of what she calls my "Camel Toe".

Have you ever heard of this?

    Lorene.

yes - good god! Either wear a longer shirt or get different pants! It
doesn't only happen to fat people - I have seen Celine Dion sporting a nasty
looking camel-toe! I'm sure if you google it you will come up with some
    unsightly examples!

  3. affliction that occurs when tight, two-legged garments ride up into the
crotch area to create a cleft or cloven effect reminiscent of a camel's toe.

Maybe it's the type of pants causing this problem. I'd listen to your
daughter and not wear them. Unless you don't mind the guys staring.

I'm guessing your pants are a tad tight.

  6. Yes, in fact they did a whole segment on it on one of the cable
channels. If the pants are too tight, that's what happens. I personally
    think it looks gross too.

I've always worn tight pants (I was thin till I had kids) and I never, ever,
ever had that problem! I don't know if it's an anatomy thing or the pants
themselves but I remember it always being certain girls in school had the
    prob and others didn't

Toe in the movie - they wore pants with huge exagerated camel toe ...ew!

I hadn't heard of it until about a year ago at work. My coworkers were
commenting on a boss's camel toe and I made a stupid comment about not
noticing her feet and everyone fell about. I felt like a complete fool for
not knowing anything about this. I guess I've led a very sheltered life or
    something.
Needless to say, I know all about it now!

I just learned that term myself and I am 42. Ummm you dont want to
have a camel toe so change your pants or cover your crotch good. I
would also be a tad concerned about who is teaching your daughter that
terminology in middleschool. Mind you my daughter is 6 and my only
child. I havent been but through kindergarten and first grade. Maybe
I'm ignorant but middleschool children shouldnt be talking about camel
    toes or wearing them.

  11. Camel toe. I never heard of it and looked it up. Hilarious! Camel toe!

    Excellent.

Oh yeah, I suggest you wear different paint. 😉

  12. Better known as a frontal wedgie. Could it be that your under garments may
be loose from the weight loss? Loose panties and tight pants make for a
    great camel toe.

Give me a break. My 9 year old probably knows what a camel toe is. By
Junior high some are having sex and doing drugs--or at least know all
    about drugs and sex.

  14. In my day, we called it "tea bags"

Yeah, well, that's not new. I know of girls in my graduating class (and
I'm in my early 40s) who lost their virginity when they were 11.

I'd still be concerned. It may be "normal" but it isn't good.

  16. I agree with that. It's a shame what kids are subjected to from all
    sides these days IMO.

  17. I wonder who came up with such a term. "camel toe" It had to be some kid
somewhere. Kids are the ones that come up with funny terms like that. I
hope I get to use camel toe sometime when I am out drinking. I don't know
why I find that term so damn funny. Kids...they are great!

Molly Shannon on Saturday Night live did a very funny skit on her
camel toe. She didn't use a prop either - it was the real thing.

It is mostly a question of an individual's anatomy that they are born
with. My SO has always had a pronounced camel toe with any pants or
shorts that had a seam down the middle of the crotch. Many women
have this and have learned that as they arise from a seated position,
they discretely pull their pants legs down which remove the material
from between the lips of their vagina.

Others are born with an anatomy where there is absolutely no sign
of lips from the front. All the hardware is below, or around the
    bend.

I think you mean vulva. Any pants that show the opening to the vagina
would be beyond uncomfortably tight, not to mention the women would be
standing up in a very odd position.
