I'm looking for successful slimmers to take part in a diet feature I'm
working on. You must have lost 5st or more and be between the ages of
    20-45.

    Why the age discrimination?

I suspect that is the demographics of their magazine. It's funny you
    should call it "discrimination", though.

  2. Hi!

My name is Kasie Davies and I'm currently working on a new magazine for The
    National Magazine Company, UK.

I'm looking for successful slimmers to take part in a diet feature I'm
working on. You must have lost 5st or more and be between the ages of
20-45. Plus, you will not have appeared in a national magazine/newspaper
    before.

I would love to hear your amazing story, and hopefully use your experience
to inspire my readers. The feature will include a free make-over with
professional hair and make-uo stylists, and a glossy photoshoot due to take
place in London (all travel costs paid for by NatMags).

If you feel this is something you would like to do, or would just like to
find out more, please contact me at [email hidden],
alternatively ring me on 020 74395632.

Thanks so much for taking the time to read this, and I hope to hear from you
    soon,

    Kind regards,

    Kasie Davies

I've just e-mailed her and told her that I find it offensive, too.

Please note this is a false e-mail address, so probably a troll.

(The age thing, that is). And my e-mail came straight back with "Not a
valid address" on it, so it's probably a troll, anyway.

The reply address was in the body of the message. I mailed her
suggesting some uk.[x] groups as more appropriate, as I doubt her
magazine is interested in flying in folks from the whole world for
    interview. That address didn't bounce.
