I use a SRAM 9speed chain and it works fine on Campy 10speed. See L. Zinn
discussion (WeloNews) on this subject for more info. SRAM 9 SPD chains are
simply less expensive and a more durable (longer lasting) than 10spd chains.

I've installed many Wipperman chains for people who swear by them after using campy chains in ther past. I don't know why so many people want to be able to take their chain off to clean it, but that seems to be the main reason that people ask for this chain where I work. Just make sure you read the instructions. It is possible to put the connecting link on wrong with the Wipperman chain

I've just put a Mavic chain on my C-10. Shifts well and seems to be
quieter than the Campy. Certainly cheaper. I probably would have
purchased a Wipperman, but the local shops were out of them.

Anyone else using this chain ?

My experience with the IRD chain doesn't reflect any difference in
wear to cogs. I have the first IRD, which I think I bought from
Vecchio's still in service with the same 12/25 Campy Chorus cassette
for almost 10,000 mi. I think the downide to the IRD is that it skips
on an 11t cog and that the black coating on the sideplates wears to
silver and black.

Don't know but two of them installed on cogsets that were about 2500 miles,
were completely trashed 2500 miles later.
