No experience with that particular model, but I recently got a Polar S725 and it is great. Good quality and amazing features. I think all Polar stuff has a good reputation.

I don't know the F11, but the s720 is excellent.

A month or so ago Aldi had combined wireless HRM-cycle computers for $50, and they work well. Wireless gives a clean look to the bike as a bonus. If you want the HRM for non cycle duty then this would not be for you of course. Aldi seem to have such items on sale several times per year and depending on the shop may still have them in stock.

The criticism I have heard about Polar is that you are not able to replace the battery when it runs out. Is that true?

I have $200 rebel sports voucher coming my way, and was thinking of using that to get a polar HRM.

As this is the site of cycling forums, one presumes that you are interested in cycling?
The F11 has no cycling features.
I recently bought a Polar 725 from the US using ebay for AU$300 and I am very happy with it. My wife uses a 520 which uses the Sonic Link to connect it to the computer. This seems to work OK with the notebook computer but it was a nightmare trying to connect it to the PC using an external microphone.

I have the F6, mainly because I want it for jogging and I think the S series is too big for that.

I guess it does what you want, HRM and a watch. For me though I think it's a bit overpriced, and doesn't come with a stopwatch that counts up 🙁

I got the 725 and it is brilliant. The functions and the read out itself are very good.

Second to that, I had reason to return it to Persuit Performance (due to my stupidity) and it was back in just over a week (from Perth) and fixed under warranty. Staff on the phone pre-retrun where also very helpful.

After sales service, if you are going to shell out a decent wad of the hard earned, is important.
