  1. Hi

Does anyone have any recommendations for a budget touring frameset
(~£400, less if it's doable)? The Thorn Club Tour looks good - anyone
    with firsthand experience here?

    Cheers,

    Mark

Galaxy - well, not much more, but you get free wheels, bars, etc..

    cheers,
    clive

  3. It looks like Thorn set their prices to sell bikes rather than frames.
The complete Club Tour is £250 more than the frameset, either the
frame is dear or the bike is cheap.
Byercycles do some decent touring frames from around £250

Bikeshed had some NOS Saracen touring frames in Reynolds 531

If you want something really traditional. Have a look at a Bob Jackson
World Tour, £360 in your choice of colour.
