    Are you British?

    But seriously...

Crunchy Brussels sprouts? The thought is revolting!

Just a slight crunch.... al dente. It's a nice texture and a good taste.
When cooked until soggy they develop a nasty taste.

Actually, my last line (which you snipped) said it all. They are
horrible little things that should be eradicated. Mere extinction is too
good for 'em. A final solution is in order. If ever there was an
argument against intelligent design, it is Brussels sprouts!

I used to think that way when I had only had then overcooked. When I tried
them cooked properly there were very tasty. I still won't eat them soggy.

    Pardon me for a moment...

(ack, ack, gag!, retch, ack, ack, ack... argh!)

    I disagree.

I can't deal with the thought of them *crunching*, either.

<"if we took the bones out, they wouldn't be crunchy, would they!">

It's funny, but when I was little, I adored brussle sprouts.
Last couple of times I tried them, they were vile.
Can't help but wonder if the difference is that my parents grew them?

I might have to try them at least one more time, but slightly
undercooked sounds like a good idea. We eat our brocolli that way. :-)

    Cheers!

I think any cooked vegetable benefits by that method. For instance,
I'm not a fan of cooked carrots... but they are much better slightly
    undercooked.

    🙂
