I went running this morning and on an uneven piece of road, turned my ankle.
Instead of injuring the ankle itself, I managed to bruise the side of my
foot, on the outside of the foot at the base of my little toe where the bone
is close to the surface. It's slightly bruised and a little sore. Any ideas
what I should do to it? Ice? Heat? Nothing but rest?

Read a book, called Mind over Mood.*
Then sue your doctor after you recover from gangrene.*Naw, never mind. Try ice and tender-loving care. Then see an expert.

advisable. Whether you run or not is proportionate to the level of
discomfort.-DF

and you can resume normal activity (for Doug that requires two hands, one for
the strokin', and one for the magnifying glass.) -
First, you need a saw that can cut through bone...
