Okay, WalMart has these brownie mixes in the Industrial Size section of
their grocery area. Four bags of Duncan Hines Chewy Fudge brownie mix, all
in one big box. It's cheaper buying in bulk like that.
Anyway, after a very disappointing first batch (the flavor was just kinda
flat), I substituted melted butter for the vegetable oil. Just as good as
my homemade, but without dirtying sixteen utensils getting the job done.
You have NO idea how much I hate washing dishes.
My other "secret" ingredient? Just a touch of orange extract.
These are really nice to have on hand when the teenage swarm invades our
house every once in awhile.
