That's the original Welsh spelling.

Nitpicking about a typo in a well-intentioned post is crass and
reflects poorly on your upbringing.

I suspect that gene's misspelling was deliberate.
I was raised in forest by wolves.

"The Bicycle Wheel" would be a good choice, but I would use a pseudonym
for the donation - "Jim Beam" is a possibility. 😉

I was going to donate the same book. I was hopping that my proposed
donation would generate a diatribe from the the tenneesseian.

The Bicycle Wheel ? does the BW give real instruction for building
bicycle wheels? When you build a wheel as a novice (like me)
toooooooooo whom does the Wolf Boy turn? Brandt or BRWON ?
BLT, there are several excellent touring advice books on the charts
and advice on the fly,as always for example TOURING COWFLOP COUNTRY or
DYING IN THE DESERT are locally popular tho there are a few ringers
out there.

Good thought. Or at least Sheldon Brown, Cyclist.
(as any mechanic who's tried 'I'm a bicycle mechanic' as a pickup line
will attest, our calling doesn't mean much to the public at large)

"Sheldon Brown, Bicycle Sage" is a possibility.

That may be because there has not been a popular television show
involving a LBS. On the other hand, considering what Hollywood does,
that may be a blessing.
The other problem may be one of mis-hearing in a noisy bar - the girl
may think you said "I'm a bisexual mechanic" and freak out. 😉

I was thinking that making sure that his Bicycle Gear Calculator is
still on the Internet in its current form say 150-200 years from now,
that would be a pretty fitting tribute?
The CD is cool - donate two
I spoke to Brwon urging a try at a cartoon wheelbuilding graphic. I
understood the response of, he was snowed under, already.
For the bisexual group, there are books on Menage and off course the
always popular cycling touring: IN THE STEPS OF THE DONNER PARTY

I always thought of his work here as containing as much cycology as
anything else.
And heaven knows, we needed the therapy,
