Unless its the seatpin in the top of the telescopic post which is
something odd like 26.6mm. Quite why they couldn't go the extra 0.2mm
to a standard 26.8mm is beyond me.

Thanks; no good, mine is 29.2 and there do not seem to be any suppliers

Or the extra 0.6mm to the most-common-of-all 27.2. Perhaps Mr Ritchie got a
deal on a size nobody was buying.

I don't know about more modern models, but my older telecopic seatpost has
enough give in the nylon shim to accept a 26.8 - a Nitto 66 in my case - as
a snug sliding fit.
