  1. Does anyone know how to replace a broken spring that returns the
shifter after changing down the gears? I have a spare Ergopower 10sp
Control from a previious accident but I can't work out how to remove
the spring. At the moment I am using a rubber band over the two
shifters to keep them together. It is possible to change down still
but its obviously not a smooth as it could be.......

On the Campagnolo spare part page it is listed as: EC-RE215

    http://www.campagnolo.com/pdf/spares04_A.pdf

    Regards Sean.

2 excellent sources of info but if you wish to not tackle this, send
it to me and I'll OVH it, one day turnaround. $35 labor, $5 for the
    part.

'Returns the shifter', shift lever or thumb button?

Either way, I have both parts.

Thanks for all advice. The spring returns the shifter so that another
shift can happen. I have put a rubber band round the two levers which
allows the 'up-shifter' to bring back the 'down-shifter'....... and
now, while I wait to replace the spring, I have gotten used to this
solution and forgot to pursue it further..........good old rubber
    bands eh?
