Pah!! That's nothing!! I watched the Discovery channel tonight - some French bird climbing 'The Old Man of Hoy' whilst 3 months pregnant!! Some inconsiderant seagull vomitted all over her to outraged cries of 'Merde!!!!' Flamin' Frogs, coming over 'ere, climbing our stacks - !! Mont Blanc not good enough for 'em eh?
Dave Not on call tonight therefore half [censored] on Guinness Foreign Export & Laphroig!!

Plenty of shots of the S**T lorry. The lovely shots of the Fans could have been lumped together in a 2 sec shot.
It was almost a case of contravening the trade descriptions act calling it the Beacons! Why not call it Hill farming in Llanddeusant - that would have been much nearer the mark.
I wonder which MRT team will "Star" in next week's program?

Oh I don't know, there were a lot of good scenic shots. In fact, many of them were excellent, especially the moody snow shots up at Llyn y Fan Fawr, way better than the usual standard of hill video that we get on TV. Many of those shots would have made great still photographs. I was impressed.
Don't take my comment too literally. Like you, I thought the shots of Llyn-y-Fan Fawr excellent and it would have been nice if we could have enjoyed them for just a bit longer. -- Bill Grey billboy.co.ukbillboy.co.ukOpen ↗

The western side!

Yeah, are you sure it wasn't just a programme to make us feel sympathetic toward the farmer's plight? Apparently he has bills to pay. I was half expecting them to ask for a donation at the end of the programme! :-)
Nice shiny vehicle they were leaning against at the end of the prog though... No wonder they can't pay their bills.

Yeah! Of course they were wise to choose the most scenic area of the whole Beacons, IMNSHO.
