    As far as I can tell it will be a select bunch who turn up at The
    campsite at Bryn Tyrch http://www.heartofsnowdonia.co.uk/btfcamp.htm
    and http://www.bryntyrch-hotel.co.uk/ on the evening of Boxing Day. We
    have decided that an early start is out of the question due to
    possible over indulgence on the 25th. But we might get a walk in on
    the 27th.

    Please don't reply to this if you can't make it. We might let you know
    what happened later.

    The email "reply to" will get to me provided you don't put v1agra or
    some other spammers fave subject in the subject.

    I'll be there but whether on the night of 25th or driving up on 26th
    isn't clear yet. I'll have Thomas (nearly 11) with me; I just hope we
    can keep up with the fit and healthy regular walkers.

    I'm looking forward to:

    a. A bimble on the Monday afternoon.
    b. Food and beer in a pub.
    c. Sleeping in my new sleeping bag.
    d. Breakfast in my tent on Tuesday morning.

    ...... oh, and I suppose I'll go for a walk on the Tuesday (if I have
    to!)

    It dates back to when AOL stopped doing its own 'yahoo groups' type
    thing and joined Usenet proper. There was a sudden flood of newbie
    posting, but all that most of the AOL posters could ever do was to quote
    a whole 300 line message and add 'me too' on the bottom (sometimes the
    top!).

    Hence /AOL, or <AOL>, or whatever became a synonym for 'me too' or
    'likewise' or whatever.
