  1. They just won in Hawaii but not once did any announcer mention that they are husband and wife - are
    they still?

  2. i was wondering the same thing---Reid was conspicuously missing at Lori's finish this year........
(Also no commentary about the big payday in *their* household)

    Just read in SFGate.Com

"Lori Bowden of Canada, the 1999 champion who holds the women's course marathon record, made another
strong marathon run and won the women's race. Her time was 9:11:55. Bowden, who is Reid's estranged
wife, passed Nina Kraft of Germany midway through the run after Kraft had regained the lead."

    When did this happen?

  6. Interesting. Heard the announcer say "despite all her troubles this past year".

Despite Peter's strong abilities he seems like a head case with his "I'm retiring, I'm not
    retiring" routine.

    Lori seemed pretty solid however.

Maybe it was the body paint.

  7. Even more interesting is the quote from James Patterson she requested to have on her website the
night before the race. Check it out @ www.loribowden.com
