That's where I mostly walk, will see how long my carbon poles last!
The advantage of Alpkit is that you can by individual sections, so if
one bit snaps you don't have to replace the whole thing.

It'll depend to some degree on how they're built up. Very little CF
stuff is /pure/ CF, it's often a mix with other stuff which will change
the wear/strength/flexibility and usually add to the weight to some degree.

Having replaced the lower sections of my BD poles, I know that a word
with the importer is usually all that's required to manage this on other
brands, should anyone need to do this.
