  1. Hi.

The tread on my boots is almost worn out, but the uppers are reasonably OK.
    Any recommendations for repairers, please?

    Regards: Jim Ford

Try taking them to any branch of TIMSONS. They will send them 'away'
somewhere but have an excewllent job done on the in my experience. I have
had some very good boots repaired through their shops.

    Cheers,

Seconded. I use LSR on a regular basis. They're terribly friendly and
helpful, and I've had no reason at all to fault their service.

Tim, not tryin' to pry; just concerned for a friend. Have you
been posting somewhere recently where a regular is a lady named
Emily and another is someone who has a lot of input and signs
herself with a single initial? If it's not you - you won't know
what I'm talking about, so don't worry.

I try to be a good example to my children, but they just see me
    as a dire warning.

    No, don't think so.

There's a man with your name but a different email addy posting
in a medical support group at the moment, and I wondered if it
were you. I've been lurking because Emily is a friend of mine.

No, not me, I've never been near any medical support groups.

Let's hope you never need to.
