  1. I hope Boonen wins the Green Jersey. He's a nice young man with a
    lovely smile.
That McEwen is rude and aggressive.I wouldn't go so far as to describe
    him as a grouchy,Ozzie short-[censored],but I won't be sending him a
    Christmas card this year.

    Apologies for the strong sentiments.

Ah well, I hope it goes the other way. I seriously enjoyed today's result.

I'm utterly with you. McEwen's use of his head on Monday was as
inexcusable as his whinging self justification afterwards, and that in
turn was as objectionable as his egotistical self congratulation after
today's win. A cocky, egotistical little whinger, in my opinion. Boonen,
by contrast, comes over as a really nice guy - and I agree completely
    about his smile.

I can't agree there, O'Grady looked to me to be holding back McEwen with his
elbow. Six of one, half a dozen of the other IMO.

But also a professional cyclist, doing his job earning his money,
doesn't mean you have to go round waving and smiling at everybody .....

Maybe Tim Henman should have taken a leaf out of his book ;-)

Nonsense , McEwen is a silly goose !
The overhead shot of that sprint clearly showed that McEwen blew it
completely by allowing himself to get boxed in.
He then savages O'Grady in a vain attempt to save face.

I've formed this opinion of McEwen over the past 3 years .
He's cycling's equivalent to Man. Utd. - gets away with murder, then
whinges when he is finally done for G.B.H. en velo.
Tom Boonen would never do that.
