What a super champion. This guy has brought more excitement into this season than anyone I can remember in a long time.

Outstanding! What a well-deserved victory. His season has been phenomenal!

Solo at Flanders.
3-up at Roubaix.
20 man group at World's.
Bunch gallops at the Tour.
Winning however he can and doing it often. -
The guy is going to be a legend.

In Belgium he already is - has had to move to Monaco to escape the attention. Not to mention the taxes ...
But yes, great win, nice guy. Amazing that Belgium had 3 guys in that second group pulling for him, while none of the other big nations had anyone.

It is great to see a rider who has been able to win throughout the season.
Classic wins, grand tour stages wins, overall stage race wins and now the world title.
All in one season.TB was marked out as a special talent from an early age and to think that he is still very very young makes his future development even more interesting.
He reminds me of Jalabert. -

Last day of the tour de suisse had 3 HC climbs on it. Not a lot he could do to help his team leader.

I agree. But if it was him in yellow and not Rogers, I reckon he would at least have pulled on his kit and made it to the start line.

Anybody understand or know about Boonen's autograph? It doesn't look anything like his name - what is he writing?

I doubt he made that decision alone. 🙄 -
Great ride by Boonen and heck of a victory.
But please, let us also note that the excitement in the last two laps came from Bettini and Vinokourov! 😉
