While I don't consider myself a trekkie, while a vulcan is stronger, a
great mathematician (so should be good at tactics) and lives very long
(so should have a career of, what? 30, 40 years?) Wouldn't a vulcan
also have problems with the unpredictability of human riders? Of
course the vulcan grip would be great for handling hotheads, such as
Moreau in the 2002 TdF. Then there's the mind-meld, make sure all
your teammates are on the same page.

I'm thinkin' Romulan. Then that cloaking gizmo would be handy when
launching an attack, as he could escape without anyone knowing about it.

Hmm good plan, but only if the clocking device doesn't add
considerable weight to the bike. Also, very important to deactivate
it before crossing the finish line.
