BOB trailer knock off?

I want to buy one as I'm in the middle of renovating the house we
eventually bought in Ferndale (very handy for bike path and river) and,
naturally, this involves lots of little trips to Bunnings (oops! I
forgot to get the nails/grout/cable etc.). This is doubly annoying as
the trip by car is probably about twice as long as it would be on a
bike as I can just nip across the foot bridge at the end of the road
rather than going the long way round.

On a positive note, I've seen someone else riding around the area with
a BOB style trailer, so together we can help increase the perception of
bikes as great utility vehicles! 🙂

There was a trailer named Wilderbeast something or other. It looked very simular to the one from Flying Furniture, foldable etc.

Black Rose used build a BOB knock off too. Hrrmmm - are they still in existance? Last I heard they were moving out of the Irene collective thingo into cheaper accomodation.

Nope, DWD state 'free delivery Australia wide'. That price has got to be a
bargain, for the trailer including the Drysac.

Yes, DWD used to supply this one too. I reckon the BOB would be more durable
in the long haul.

Yep, I'm not sure of the name of the shop, but it's a *proper* LBS and it's
on South Tce in Fremantle, Near the corner of Wray. Actually, make that
Mercer Cycles (slow brain today). I can't remember what I paid for it, but
it was damn cheap. Very nice to ride with, on the bike or trike.

I recently bought the Flying Furniture knock off. Best thing since sliced bread.

I use it for shopping, taking my kid to school etc.

Best of all, I wanted to attach it to my kid's tag-along that has a solid nut (no qr wheels). I emailed the factory in taiwan. The couriered the nuts to me FREE of charge within 4 days. Customer service is important to me - these guys are good.

Would recomend as it is as good as the BOB at half the price.

(PS the bag is water proof and strong enough to carry a fruit box full of assorted fruits)

No, the kid goes on the tag-a-long and the shopping in the trailer.

I probably should try it the otherway around - but I don't think the wife would go for that.... 🙂

How many tagalongs can you have in a row?
I'm suprised a team hasn't set up a string of those for the Team Time
Trial in the Tour de France.

How long is a piece of string. The trailers would be easy enough to have in an endless string (you'd just need a modified (shortened) skewer at the back of each trailer.

However, my road train (bike plus 2) is about at the limit of what I would like to attempt to control. I think a third trailer would start to have all sorts of issues.
