I've posted a request to make it 5:30 - 6 is too late this time of year. And a Star brekkie rather appeals 🙂

??? This time of year is just perfect for late starts 😉
Plus it sents a great precedent for winter. Well if you guys
are starting at 0530 there's no way you'll convince me to
come along. I only get up that early for trail runs (and
usually not).Tam (enjoyed running from 8.30 am 'til 11.45 am last Friday
in the 30 deg C warmth of summer) -

I was just telling Lotte yesterday that I can't remember when you last rode an LA ride! -

I was just telling Lotte yesterday that I can't remember when you last
rode an LA ride!I could probably commit to a 7.45 start. 😉
Think I'll do a Wynnum/Wello loop instead.

I'm definitely out for tomorrow - I plan to do a longer ride.
Also, Karen I may be doing the TC's Bike Bar shop ride Saturday morning, so I may not do Daisy. Is that ok with you?

Longer ride is of course out for me as usual - more than my back can cope with.Enjoy the TC ride - we'll catch up another week. I'm away from next Thursday for a week or so, going interstate 🙂

Asterope pikes again...
Asterope has slept a sum total of 2 hours tonight...
Asterope needs to borrow Lotte's shotty to pay her new next door neighbours a visit and show her what she thinks of them being drunk at 3am...Asterope (very sleepy very sorry and very surly...)

asteropeA lawnmower at 6am does the trick. Or the stereo rigged up in your
window playing Donna Summer on endless loop.Donga

In some ways, I am extremely lucky to be hearing impaired. And to live in an area with lots of families and geriatrics...
Sorry to hear your neighbours are turds, Asterope. I'd have called the police if that were me. Noise is only allowed until 10pm.

i think you have to expect noise when you live in the inner suburbs... though these neighbours have only been here for a week, and are either uni students, on holidays or unemployed. either way it totally sucks and i hope it doesnt happen too frequently.all my other neighbours are families/older couples/elderly couples so we do the right thing and let everyone know when we have a big party planned about a week or two in advance... its just common courtesy and stops people from calling us fsckheads.
i think its going to be the cops next time and not raffi... thats for sure.

Not to worry, that's an acceptable reason for piking in my book. You missed a good ride, rain stopped just before we left GW & didn't return till I was within 200m of my car at Buranda. Nice brekkie at Star afterwards too.
I can lend you a nice .222 for your neighbours - bit noisey though!
Or an old chainsaw that the exhaust has fallen off of ...Doing it again on Monday, check Road Grime for postings ...

Sure you'd expect more noise than most suburbs, but I wouldn't live in the inner burbs for that very reason. It takes me 13 minutes to ride to the gwb from my place and I'm surrounded by geris. Loving it!
