Here at The Feed Bag, our Blueberry Chicken is a menu favorite all year long. This is a simple dish with complex flavors.
Mix a teaspoon of salt, a teaspoon of cayenne pepper, and a teaspoon of nutmeg. Rub the mixture on a boneless chicken breast and grill it.
Take a half cup of extra virgin olive oil, stir in a teaspoon of sugar and simmer. Add a pinch of basil and a handful of blueberries. Pour over the chicken breast.
Fresh basil leaves? an individual serve wouldn't have half a cup of olly oil poured over it? Maybe a drizzle plus the berries? Can't quite visualise the taste, but I might try it..... Bronwyn

Agreed, too much oil for me to picture. Sugar in the oil will not really dissolve, and there's no othe liquid. I think a mixture of olive oil and blueberry vinegar, plus the sugar and blueberries might be a better mix, but that's just me.

ROFL!!! I know a few people who'd be relentlessly drawn to a restaurant called the Feed Bag. :-) George Carlin was ripping them in his HBO special this past Saturday. They're the ones who MUST have a backpack when they go to the mall, for carrying whatever they buy. This keeps their hands free so they can eat and eat and eat and eat......

We have two restaurants in the area (same owner) called The Feed Bag. Their food is homey, but quite good, and the portions are normal, not rediculous.

Wayne, it's the image I find amusing, not the quantities. Do you know what a feed bag is???

Yes, I've seen them on horses. I can certainly picture a feed bag on some of these people that flood into the Old Country (read: Old Folks) Buffet. They might as well be at a trough!

Exactly. It sure sells, though. :-) Anyway, I'm amused by the idea of a restaurant named "Feed Bag". However, you could probably open a place called "Wayne's Cesspool", and as long as you had troughs of hideous jello with marshmallows in it, you'd be a rich man quickly.

LOL! You're probably right.

There is a small pub restaurant chain here called 'Fiasco's' that has been going about 15 years. Never thought it would last a day, but then again, you can never underestimate the [taste] of the paying public. LOL
