  1. My recent blood test indicated
    Bun 28
    Creatinine 1.0
    Bun/Creatine 28.0

Urine test results for specific gravity
    1.030 or greater

Protein, blood, glucose, nitrite urine test
    all negative.

My concern is the high bun and the high
specific gravity, Is this something I should
    be concerned about?

    Advice Please.

No, it's a reflection of your hydration at the time you gave the urine
    specimen.

Looks like a simple case of dehydration.

    What is your diet like?
What OTC supplements are you taking?
    What is your fluid intake?

To all those asking about interpreting lab tests, you do not interpret lab
tests in a vacuum. These things are "always" interpreted within a clinical
context. Why was the lab test ordered? I have seen people with perfectly
good normal lab results on people who have just died. I have seen very
abnormal results on completely normal people (artifact) and have seen
    everything else in between.
It is not like reading tea leaves where you walk in with these things and
then ask what do they tell.
There are many clinical conditions in which very small minute changes may be
significant so changes of your own results over time may be more significant
then simply one result evaluated in relation to the general population.

HIGH BUN readngs usually are due to dehydration...If re-thinking your WATER

unput does not help...then a chemical IM-balance may exist. Remember also
    that
TOO MUCH water can also setup erroneous chemistry depending on the ambient
temeratures in which you live, The recommended amounts, depending on
    WEIGHT
and Body mass are usually 32 ounces MINIMUM for every 100 lbs. Adjust as
    needed.
TRY to drink GOOD CLEAN water as afforded by a CULLIGAN SYSTEM found in
every WALL-MART Store. Plastic containers are available from 1 to 5 gallon
    sizes.
At 25 cents a gallon..one can hardley afford NOT to drink decent NON
    CHLORINATED
water, Our generally PCB tainted and FLOURIDE ruined water from the tap is
    and always
has been dangerous. Most healthy folks up to about 3 quarts a day
    Nominal. Anything above
this can leach minerals from the body! Always take something SOLID with
    MOST water.
OR drink more during the HEAT of SUMMER. as your body evaporates more then.
Frequent Urination can also be a problem and should be looked at by a BUN
    test. The
PHONY Type 2 diabetes is quite prevalent and should NOT be as it is a result
    of ERRONOUS
DIETS. As said above...KOSHER (BALANCE) is the answer. DO NOT EAT STARCH
    AND
MEAT together! PERIOD! Either goes with Carb's (veggies) but NOT mixed as
    in the
UBIQUITOUS "HAMMY BUGGERS" sold by MacDonalds and similar Garbage scows.
