Euan, 21, was driving a silver Ford KA when he was involved in a collision with a 64-year-old cyclist at a junction on the A46 in Cheltenham.The man was taken by ambulance to Cheltenham General Hospital after the accident at at 7.30am on Monday but police said he suffered no serious injuries.Later that day Euan attended a graduation ceremony at Bristol University where he received a degree in ancient history.A spokesman for Euan's mother Cherie Blair said: "We understand that there was a minor incident and are glad that the gentleman involved was not seriously hurt."Gloucestershire Police spokesman Katy Roberts said: "The incident was dealt with in line with normal procedures and no further police action will be taken."After graduating, the Prime Minister's son is expected to work in Washington DC as an intern for a Republican politician."

Interestingly, the little discription of the accident we have suggests that this was a case of a cyclist being hit from behind. I've always thought that these were very rare but then they do happen.

100% of the RTAs involving me as a cyclist and one other moving vehicle have involved me being rear-ended by some twit in a car who failed to stop more than a cycle-length from a line across the carriageway where I was already stationary. (I know he was a twit, because he was insured with a company that insures high risk drivers; and they were incompetent too, because they sent the cheque to him rather than to me.)
