  1. Can you imagine next year when Landis has his bionic hip. He won't feel
    any more pain, he'll never feel fatigue, he'll win 3 more tours. He'll
    ride out in the mountains and gain 10 minutes on all. He may even get
    the green jersey as the best sprinter too.

    This was discussed at length in the letters section of CyclingNews about two
    years ago. With new techniques and the latest materials, there's no reason
    to think he won't be back next year, especially if he has the operation done
    soon.
