I've been lookin for a road bike, i'm a newb so nothing to outrageous, but i would like one that fits me. I'm just a smidge over 6'5" and it seems everything i've found is for people under 6'. does anyone make an affordable bike for people my height?

I have a friend who is 6'10" and is having a similar problem. Any help is appreciated for both of us!

I don't know about 6'10" (you might look into bicycles by Leonard Zinn for that guy)..., but at 6'5" you may be able to get away with a Van Dessel - my husband is 6'4" or so and rides the biggest size of the Kermis

1) Folding bikes have more adjustments when it comes to handlebars and seatpost positions.
2) Try craigslist/ebay and look for vintage bikes. For some reason they produced bikes back then with more variance in frame dimensions.
3) Pay the money for a custom frame.
4) Recumbent?

I am 6'5" 205lbs and have found that the only production bikes that fit me well are Cannondales. They make a true geometry 63 cm bike that fits me well. If they made a 64cm it would have been perfect, but without the money for a custom frame, the 63 cm is right on time. I ride both the 2007 Caad 9, and an 2005 Six 13, both 63cm and both great bikes. The 2007 Caad 8 low end model runs about $1100.00.Good Luck

I'm 6'5" and I ride a Trek. They make a 63cm frame in most of their road bike range and it's a good fit for me.

Hey guys try Baum cycles in Australia. They make custom steel and Titanium bicycles and word has it they just made a steel frame for a guy who was smack bang on 7ft and 320lbs.
