  1. I'm always refreshing Bikely to check out routes out and about... tonight I see "Yarra Trail1"... After my MTB slog on the Yarra Trail tonight (approx 32kms), contending with thick fog, 100's of rabbits, mud, mud and mud, I assumed "Yarra Trail1" would be a similar path...

Wrong - A good chunk of it is down Toorak Rd.. so I guess trams, Porsches, and Commo doofdoof are what you'd encounter on this Yarra Trail route...

    It made me chuckle...

You should try them stewed gently in red wine and garlic - yummy! 🙂

    Westerfolds

I see quite a few between Heidelberg and Eaglemont too.

Also spotted a Lama there the other weekend (stood out amongst all the
    family groups).

    Is this like free entertainment?
    Watching peeps catch rabbits?

Sorry, been there done that including one embarrasing night spot light
when five shot guns shells later (honest, that rabbit could jump), the
ute unloaded and we ran around and caught it with out hands.

I wondered last night about losing the front end if I did end up rolling over one in mid hop... I'll keep trying and post my findings...

I like that, yummy Sunday Roast AND help rid the environment of introduced pests. Although the Westerfolds bunnies maybe a tad stringy unless there's plenty of good grass cover.

I've done a fair bit of night MTB around pesterfolds this winter, and
-lots- of bunnies, but they don't seem to congregate on the
singletrack, just around the open grassed areas. Never got close to
them, despite some scaryfast riding around the trails.

The big wombat who lives near the bridge though ... wow .. don't run
    into him!

Furry rocks break cars then wander off. I dunno being hit by a bike
    would even wake one up.
