Hello people, I recently bought a hybrid bike, but I think it;s not my size, the bike is size medium (17.5 inches), and my height is 181cm, but is a very nice bike and I don't want to sell it or let it go, it's a Specialized sirrus elite, so I would like to know what can I do to fit my size, thank you very much and greetings from Tijuana!

I'm not that familiar with the hybrid dimensions but a MEDIUM in their Tarmac line fit me perfectly - I'm about 5'9" also. I'm not sure what you are referring to that is 17.5 inches? They seem to use metric on their sizing exclusively.
I'm guessing Specialized probably sizes consistently within their own brand so a MED road bike and a MED hybrid would be designed for approximately the same size person. We are all a little different but most sizing anomolies within a given baseline can be addressed by stem length, height, etc.
What makes you think the bike is too small? A picture of you on the bike (sideview) will go a long way to helping folks on the forum give you the feedback you are looking for.

Well im basing in a sizing chart that i've found on the net with mi height as reference, it says the i'm in the 18-20 inches range in hybrid bike meassurement, bit i will upload a picture of me with the bike, thanks a lot!

Personally unless the bike feels too small, I wouldn't worry about it. I just checked a few hybrid size charts and a 'medium' can easily apply to guys our height, and in the case of Specialized sizing specifically, you are definitely in the right ballpark. If it feels too small maybe you can take it back and exchange it? It's more likely just a small change to the handlebar height or stem length but tough to tell without seeing pics.
