Have you found a pair you truly love? If so, which are your favorite?
I've only tried Pearl Izumi's and I'm a little hesitant to try something else.

Fine, I'll just assume that you all ride nude. That gives me quite the visual... :p
lol
So far my favorite is a pair of bellwether 531 Elite 8 shorts

I have not tried Pearl izumi yet although I think my next pair of shorts will be Pearls
I like the PI Attack shorts.
I have the Pearl Izumi Microsensor 3D shorts. Expensive, but well worth the price. Don't have much soreness problems with these shorts - even on 60+ mile rides, and a very lightweight bike seat.
I like the Giordana's shorts. I've tried mainly Pearl Izumi but now I have more Giordana's shorts than PI's shorts.

Yeah, until everyone ruined it by finally replying. 🙁
My current favorite is the Performance Elite Multi-Layer short. Very comfy, and won't break the bank. I'm fortunate enough to have 2 Performance locations near me.

Giordana or nothing at all ............. they are the absolute best.
Assos all the way. Nothing finer for my...well you get the picture.
Assos have always been head and shoulders above anyone else - and there new T FI Mille with elastic insert is a leap on from everything they've done before

cydewaze - I live in Jacksonville, Florida now, but I used to shop at the Performance Bike off of Muddy Branch Road in Gaithersburg. I bought my first road bike there - a '99 Schwinn Peloton. I worked down the street and used to go there every day to "look around". I'm sure the sales people thought I was nutz....
I'm a big fan of the Assos and Castelli shorts. Don't skimp on comfort. Saddle sores take too long to heal.
Always rode Castelli. Recently purchased a mid-range Campagnolo pair of bib shorts. Absolutely wonderful and suuuper comfortable. Highly recommended.
Yes I am biased!

Small world. That's the Performance store I shop at. 😎
Does anyone have experience with performancebike bibs vs. coloradocylist? I'm looking to buy their in house $60-80 ones. Have heard good things from both but cant decide which ones to buy. The good thing about perfbike is their discount coupons, but they charge shipping. Let me know
The most I ever paid for a pair of bike shorts was for some Pearl Izumis, and that blue synthetic chamois just about kills me! I hear people rave about them, but after a two hour ride, I feel like I've been through a jail cell session with Bubba:eek: . I think my current favorites are Giordanas.
i don't mind paying for good stuff. i just hate buying expensive things that suck! 😠
I wear Louis Garneau. Very comfy, good price and nice chamois.
