Down for the show this Friday... can anyone recommend some decent bike shops
to take a nose at whilst down there?

Witcombs are relaunching. But visit them at the Cycle Show. I don't
think you want to trek out to Deptford!

Great stock of interesting bicycles, but am I the only person to find
the proprietor not the friendliest of people? Put me off the place

In my occasional dealings (including one personal visit to test an 8
Freight) he didn't come across as /particularly/ welcoming, but not to
the point of being offensively rude or anything like that. And in each
case the service sought was provided with no feeling that I was
begrudged for asking. So Bikefix is still on my Useful list (last thing
was a new B&M Seculight mount, most people haven't even heard of them,
sourced and posted in good time).

Have they changed ownership.
I popped in earlier this year after I blew a tyre and it seemed to be
the same old faces.
