ISTR the only cycling programme that's ever made an impression on me was a
C4 documentary about Boardman vs Obree. One of the best sports docs I've
ever seen, and you REALLY felt for Obree. Whatever happened to him?

Got seriously depressed, attempted suicide, is now recovering; geared up
for another record attempt this summer but didn't go through with it.

He's been making a bit of a comeback recently after a very low period in
his life. He was planning another attempt on the hour record but didn't
go through with it.
